Regional Sales Representative

Southern Prohibition needs an individual based in Hattiesburg, MS, who is willing to take their love of craft beer a step further. Our ideal candidate will have a foothold in the community our brewery thrives in, and will continue to grow or relationships throughout Hattiesburg, all of Mississippi and the Southeast. Our representative must be willing to work nights and weekends - when needed - and step outside of the normal 9-5 lifestyle.


  • Achieve specified account goals as provided by sales manager
  • Achieve and maintain market standards in territory, including beer quality, freshness and presentation
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers or influencers on account level throughout territory, and develop on-going account list
  • Perform distributor work withs, riding with each distributor team’s key sales representative at least once every two months.
  • Plan and execute promos, festivals, beer education courses, fundraisers, samplings, etc.
  • Maintain spending budget
  • Develop relationships with key people at the distributor and maintain lasting relationships with distribution partners
  • Execute new product releases and distributor training on new product
  • Assist distributors with questions regarding new products and new product ordering
  • Maintain and increase knowledge of SoPro products, pricing, dating system and release schedule
